So glad to finally actually be able to post I have been wanting to for months now.

My issue is a transmission problem and mainly I have owned the car wanting to restore t now for like 4 months and it was stolen for one of those and now I was not able to slip correctly into 4th and slowly slowly it got worse to the point the transmission now makes that ehhhhhhh sound before it’s competly warm and then the N light comes
On and it won’t slip into third. It sometimes runs longer than normal and sometimes it won’t go from drive to reverse when cold for some time.
Yes I know I pushed my poor baby but so many mechanics let me down and I did my best to look after her but my concern is that the fluid isn’t black and it is only a little brown so could this just be that the *** that stole it put in the wrong fluid and it’s a computer fail safe to
Stop damage?? I am convinced that if I was to put new SP-III and not flush it from the torque converter and change the filter it will start working again I have been told 100 different things with people trying to get top dollar or force me
For a rebuild. It has 230k on it but it was looked after really well and I have done a good job to restore it with what I can find from parts and so on and just bad luck.

I need to have her fixed by the 11th for work or I lose my job and or I will have to scrap her 😢 and refund the ctp and rego ASAP to get the refund to buy a shit car an hopes not a Subaru so I don’t lose my job.
